Sonja Maier
Sonja pulls together all of her resources and experience to pass on her knowledge in planning, problem solving, persistence, negotiation and leadership. Presenting with energy and enthusiasm, she is highly motivational, acts with integrity and speaks with clarity, making her a natural teacher / coach.

It was during her 5 years in global companies such as Nestlé and SCA, Sonja realised the importance of mentors and teams. She applies this knowledge every day at Evolve Business Services in mentoring her clients and aiding them to set up systems and teams to enable tremendous business growth, effectiveness, efficiency and productivity.

Sonja’s first client, Orthopaedics Australia enjoyed massive growth due to her innovative marketing strategies and systematic implementation. In the first year, turnover was increased by 219%. However, this was not a one-off, with the figure reaching 854% over the first 5 years.

Together with a Bachelor of Marketing from Monash University in Melbourne, as well as post-graduate studies in Finance at RMIT, Sonja is well qualified to help her other clients achieve their goals. It is the application of the knowledge gained through these qualifications as well as 10 years industry experience and further reading that makes Sonja a powerhouse in her field. But don’t expect a staunch, hard-headed business woman, Sonja is light-hearted and enthusiastic with a down-to-earth approach and keep-it-simple attitude.

Peter King
With over 10 years industry experience in Graphic Design, Photography and more recently Internet Services, Peter is more than qualified to provide an excellent level of service in all of these areas. His strong creative focus brings a design component to almost everything he does.

One of Peter’s favourite areas of design is conceptualising and developing the brand character and image of a company, helping to bring an organization to life though it’s logo, stationery and promotional material. One of the most rewarding things about his work is watching his designs being rolled out and his clients’ businesses growing.

Peter derives great joy in the creative process in all areas of his life – gardening, painting and architecture (as an amateur!), always loving the process and seeing his ideas come to fruition.

It is these factors that led Peter to co-creating Evolve Business Services. In this capacity he is able to focus on empowering small businesses and their owners through his “big picture” and lateral thinking capability, listening, understanding and sharing ideas. He thrives on allowing his creative energy to deliver unique and innovative solutions.
